2016 Emily’s Kids “Gold Ribbon Scholarship” Recipient
Hannah Waggoner-Brenner Children’s Hospital
Hannah was diagnosed with Potine Glioma (brain tumor) at sixteen months of age. After two years of chemotherapy the tumor remained. With the support of her family and sheer determination Hannah began to overcome the issues the tumor was causing. Hannah became deeply involved in church, school and community activities and even started a successful babysitting business. Hannah will begin college fall 2016 at High Point University studying to be a, Pediatric Physical Therapist. Emily’s Kids Foundation is proud to award Hannah a “Gold Ribbon Scholarship” and we wish her well.
