Congratulations to Henry Charvat. He is a 2019 recipient of a “Emily’s Kids Gold Ribbon Scholarship”. Henry was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer 04/19/2016 and is being treated at Vidant Hospital located in Greenville, North Carolina. Henry will be attending East Carolina University. His potential area of study is Biology-Pediatric Oncology. Henry stated “My passion is to restore hope in every patient and their family that the future is bright for finding a cure even though it will require deliberate, concentrated scientific focus”.
