That traumatic time of my life did not forever hinder me, but rather showed me how great life is and how wonderful people truly are. Survivorship has given me a chance to find the true joy in life and live every day uniquely. I know each day is a gift and an opportunity to make a difference.”
At the time of the scholarship application Claire’s potential area of study was Nursing at Appalachian State University. Emily’s Kids Foundation would like to congratulate Claire and wish her well.
